Album TRANSPARENT BATTLE LINES is a soundtrack to non existing movie. Authentic almost cinematic atmosphere of desert war at 1942 in north Africa (Battle of El Alamein) seen from a personal perspective of a soldier no matter which side he stood. Music whose existential themes crosses the transparent line between life and the omnipresent death on the battlefield of war. The first five minutes of the almost non-musical soundscape in first song “The Sounds From The Cave” priming the listener’s mind to vibes of upcoming story, patience is required. Some motives occure in different songs (places) with different backgrouds, timeline is not just continuous line. The compositions combines practical phenomena of specific historical events with ethereal views as if from the other side beyond the boundaries of life.
